You have a beautiful puppy. Yorkies have a different type of coat in that they have no undercoat. The puppy coat can be quite thin on some pups and it may take some time for your baby to grow in a thicker coat. Usually the adult coat starts coming in at around 10 months of age. It will take months to get the full length.

I always blow dry Gracie after a bath. I don't want her to get chilled and I don't want her rolling around on the floor or outside with damp fur. They usually look better blown out anyway. it's good he is learning to accept the dryer at a young age.

Make sure you use a mild all natural shampoo and conditioner. It will help keep his skin healthy so his coat can grow in nice and healthy as well.
