Humping can also be a way for them to show dominance. My 11 pound male Yorkie is the dominant one and the other day my 35 pound female mixed mutt, who has been fixed for almost a year, tried to hump him. Needless to say he didn't let that happen since he is the dominant. But it could just be her showing him that she is in charge.
