American made treats do not always mean American sourced ingredients. This is also true of dog food ingredients -- for example, rabbit is mostly sourced outside the US from china. Tilapia is usually farm raised in china as well. I think it is worth asking a company about their sourcing of items if you are concerned. Your local store probably gets ingredients from local sources.
