Does fl have any laws for rescues? In ca any animal adopted from a rescue or shelter legally has to be neutered or spayed. If we get a purebreed we may adopt it out before it is altered but they can't take possession of the animal until it is. Usually we have the dog altered as soon as possible. Some could probably use more time for adjustment but I'd rather have them altered before any more babies are made. |
