I know some people do leave their pets overnight. Maybe they're not aware there is no one there to watch them. It seems pretty scary to me to have surgical animals there alone.
My neighbor seems to be handling things ok right now. He is glad he will have rides when he needs them. My daughter is going to clean and cook for him. It's hard when your family isn't around. I know he would do any of this for me if need be.
