I just got our puppy 3 weeks ago and he is 4mos old. His name is Lucky and we are working on trying to potty train him. He is doing really good so far but I need some advice on food from all of you yorkie pros. I give him Purina Puppy Chow because that's what the breeder was giving him and I also give him Zuke's Mini Naturals Moist Miniature Dog Treats-Peanut Butter. I have noticed the last few days his stool has been very soft and he's had a lot of gas so I think it's the food and treats I am giving him. He loves those treats but I don't want to continue giving them to him if it upsets his tummy. I also want to see about dog food because I don't like giving him the cheap stuff. What are your suggestions and if I do switch do I slowly switch him? Any advice and help would mean a lot to me. This is our first family dog (my mom always had dogs and yorkies...but this is our first since I have my own family now) I have been married for almost 15 years and we have a 13 year old son and our youngest son passed away before his 2nd birthday a few years ago and then I had a tumor in my uterus and had to have surgery so we can not have any more kids so my Lucky is now a huge part of our family and our baby. He is so loved and has brought so much joy to our lives again, so any help will mean a lot to us. I am so glad I found this site and look forward to getting to know everyone!
