I think if you can walk them before and after work they would much prefer to sit and wait for you all day rather than be rehomed. they will adjust and as long as you give them a daily job...(their walk) and some playtime I am going to guess they will adjust just fine. plus if they get along they will have each other to keep them company while your away...and as suggested above maybe you can have someone stop by to take them out for a midday stroll. best wishing to you.
