I have 3 beautiful AKC yorkies......I never sent the papers in on, I have them, but I am not breeding them so........it really dosen't matter. I kinda wish I would have, but I got busy and waited too long, now there is a 65.00 fee + reg. fee. Also, many breeders left AKC b/c of all the rate increases. I personally do not like CKC......so I am staying AKC ( showline) until there is something better and everyybody else moves....which may never happen. I returned a puppy 15 minutes after I bought her because I saw she was CKC.....the breeder had my husband sign those CKC papers while I was looking at the puppy.....I probably would have kept her, but I had a bad feeling the way the breeder acted, several things were not right looking back. If you like this breeder and puppy, go for it. I would never pay AKC prices for CKC dogs......just my opion.
