Yes, Baxter has been neutered. Thanks for the list of questions. Not sure why her dogs are CKC. The handler who owned the male became very sick (life threatening) so she could not continue with the dog. My deposit is nonrefundable, but it was only $100, so if I don't think this is the way to go, loosing the $100 would be better than having a dog that isn't in good health.

So far, I trust the breeder. She's done much more than the breeder I bought Baxter from did, and he is perfect.

I do appreciate the suggestions. I planned on making a vet appt before I pick her up (I still have a month left before she is ready). I didn't know about taking a stool sample though-thank you.

Any additional questions or concerns I should have would be great to know.

One question for you all-since the sire is AKC, is there a way that I can contact AKC to get information on the dog or the breeder? (probably not the breeder, but what about the dog, and what kind of info?)
