Gizmo has skin issues too and we go organic grain-free diet and then I puncture and squeeze a pill of fish oil on his breakfast each morning the fish oil is good for their skin, hair and heart. Gizmo is too smart to take pills he will peel cheese off the outside and he doesn't seem to mind the taste when I put it directly on the food.
Again I am no help since mine sleep in bed too
