I've been very 'eh' about TWD lately -- I don't know what it is. I remember falling asleep during some of the later ones last season, lol. And I've been very nonchalant about it (not all "OMGIHAVETOWATCHSUNDAY!") I can easily wait til the next day or a few to watch the DVR'ed version. I just feel like... it's getting to be "same old same old". Like when someone turns into a zombie, or there's a big zombie attack (like in the store last week), it just ... doesn't surprise me at all. It's to be expected. I really feel like anyone can die at any moment and it wouldn't necessarily 'shock' me...
I know I'm being such a downer.
It's not BAD by any means, I just feel like the acting could be improved a bit, and so could the writing. I think the reason I loved it so much with the first seasons, I think, was that it was very interesting to me to see these real people in a situation such as this, and it does make you think about survival skills, etc, and what we as a society would do with some kind of outbreak. But I've definitely been losing interest.
