How do you think Turbo got his name? He'll squat to poop on the pee pad that's in the bathroom & he'll take off running, leaving poopie trails! TG it's always firm & easy to pick up loll. He doesn't do it as much now & he prefers to go outside. But the funny thing is, he doesn't do that when he's outside. So I'm thinking it's the leash, it prevents him from running while pooping.
OP, you can make the designated pee area bigger & as she consistently uses it every time, you can make it smaller. We also don't have any rugs here, they (mine) can't tell the difference!
