One of my yorkies had a double hernia and we had them repaired when she was spayed. Our other yorkie also had a very small hernia, but is closed itself up and didn't need surgery. I would say if the hernia is very small, it may heal itself. Just keep checking it. If it hasn't closed up by the time you have her spayed, I would have it repaired at that time.
