Hi Lyla. (Late) Welcome to YT!

I'd suggest a trip to the vet since there's really no way for anyone on the internet to diagnose him properly without being seen. If it is his anal glands it's important that it gets done the correct way so that no harm comes to your pup. They can become infected too which could possibly lead to rupture if not done.
