Thanks for your message. When I first heard I was devastated but I'm trying to convince myself that perhaps I somehow did comfort her at least by being with her and holding her. She otherwise seemed like such a happy puppy and tried her best to be friendly and happy despite her illness. At least now she will not keep suffering...

I read in other places that a new puppy should not be brought into the home for one year. I am currently taking a break between disinfecting the hard surfaces and doors. I will look into a professional carpet cleaner to come in aside from me spraying lysol and vacuuming with my Dyson.

I just want to make sure I clean correctly so as to not infect another dog.
