WOW! I'm impressed with your knowledge of those old machines.
I have my grandmothers old White treadle with a leather strap to run the treadle. No one in the family is interested in it. It is in a wooden table and all. Never found anyone who knew about them. It is easily a 100 years old. My grandmother had 3 sets of twins about a year apart. She sewed for those six boys for years. Live in the middle of North Dakota on a dance with no clothing stores around. She probably made her own clothes to. Once when I was a k id her heard her talk about making her own knickers!
