It was nice to see him enjoy something that much, but thought that the salt? in it that made him soo thirsty that it was not a good idea, so I stopped buying them. When the pig's ear was given to me, I thought I'd give that a try, even though I figured it had salt in it as well. At first he was scared of it and didn't touch it for a few weeks. When he finally did start chewing, I guess Bailey knew it wasn't alive... haha. Now NO chewy treats for him, until I can find a healthy one and one that couldn't potentially make him sick. These little guys can't handle as much as a bigger dog, such as a Husky, etc.. | It was terrible and made me what to cry. I give Callie get naked sticks now they don't last as long but they seem to help her want to chew.
