Gracie loves to meet people when we are out. She is just very social but I prefer that people not pick her up. If someone was to pick her up and she spotted someone or something else she wanted to go to she would get very wiggly and most people would not know how to handle her when she is trying to get away. Too much chance that she could accidentally be dropped.
I have sat on benches or the ground with children and helped them to hold her on their lap. That is with me also having my hands on her as they pet her while she is on their lap. She loves it as much as the kids do and the kids end up with doggy kisses all over their faces.
