When I came home from a full day at work, I noticed that his pee pad was clean and he did not potty ALL day! This is definitely not good as I am away for 8+ hours. Have any of you experienced this? Any suggestions? When I am home, I remove the cone and let him move around, eat, and use the potty while making sure he won't lick his stitches. I cannot remove the cone fully without supervision. I just don't want him to hold it in whenever he's wearing the E-collar. |
Neither of my girls wore that after being spayed and neither one licked either. Personally I would never put that on!!!! He must be scared to death of that thing.

. What you can do is buy a preemie onesie so that the stitches are not exposed to lick. You might have to put it on backwards. I never had to buy one, but I know others that did and said it worked like a Charm. Good luck.
