That is great luck! At Max's last annual checkup, the doctor asked how he was doing. When I said Max is a "good eater," the doctor laughed. He didn't understand that it is a big deal in the little dog community not to have a picky eater.
I have no idea how Max started the 4 pm dinner thing.
It works for both Max and Teddy, so I haven't tried changing it.
