I have a yorkie with a liver problem and therefore he is on a special diet. I have it in both dry and soft form. Kobe decided he didn't like his food anymore. We go thru this several times a year. He always drops weight and at 5 lbs he can't afford to lose much. We are always in a panic trying to get him to eat something. A couple of weeks ago he did this again and I searched the internet for help. I found a couple sites that had homemade diets for dogs with liver problems. I tried this with Kobe and have been thrilled with his response. I have never seen him so happy for dinner and he licks everything clean. His energy levels are up and we couldn't be happier. He has still been eating his dry food between meals also. Maybe you could search for something similar. |
