First of all, Welcome to YT! It is such a good thing that you are doing, working on getting your kids off junk food and on to the good stuff.
I feed the Innova EVO. Chattie and Peppy (the two smaller yorkies 5 lbs. and 3.5 lbs.) both get 1/3 cup for their evening meal with 1 teaspoon of Iams canned food warmed and mixed with a little water. They have dry Innova down for them 24/7.
Chizzie, who is a big girl (7.5 lbs.) gets just under 1/2 cup Innova Evo once a day with her 1 teaspoon canned food and enough water to make a "soup".
I am one of those who used to hand feed, not because they wouldn't eat, but because I wanted to know piece by peice how much each one got, to be absolutely certain that each was getting enough. I am obsessed with feeding them properly. Anyway, my three got very bored waiting "turns" for their pieces of kibble and decided it would be much better to eat from a bowl. It reall hurt my feelings, a big time rejection. |
