Tobie had a bladder/kidney stone surgically removed about a month ago. The vet had us get Purina NF Kidney Function dog food but I was wondering if there is a better food out there for him. The type of stone he had was "Calcium Oxalate". We were told to start giving him distilled water which we have been doing.

Any suggestions on a healthy dog food that's good for dogs prone to bladder stones is greatly appreciated!
For this type of stone in a male dog please listen to your vet because CO are very difficult to deal with. Purina and RC are the way to go. You need more alkaline urine and more water into the dog. And more tinkle time. Males need every opportunity to empty their bladder, unlike females that normally do it the first squat.

Canned food is the best option.
