Exactly. I had a daughter who would fight her sleep for hours and hours until she finally had no strength to fight anymore. Which literally averaged about 4hrs each night. She finally grew out of it when she was around 2 years. Not once did I ever think about giving her benadryl for winding her down. If I needed a break I sought out help. There is nothing wrong with that. Im stating my opinion as a concerned caregiver. Furry or not.
