You are smart to keep her inside with you.
Our little Vivi was a stray and we looked everywhere for her owners. After we figured out that we were not going to find them, we made an appointment to have her spayed. On the very day of her appointment, she went into heat (which I knew nothing about before then) and had to postpone the surgery, as you have to do now.
I think your Halloween is not going to be ruined, just different. Lola can still wear her costume in your house. Have some friends over and hand out candy together! |
