Lifting then do it around 5 months. Also, it might depend on how big your dog is at the time. Gus Gus was about 8-9 pounds, tracking to be about 10-11.
Gus did have to have some teeth pulled. With smaller breeds it is semi common to have teeth problems. That is not saying do not do anything you can to help your dog to have a wonderful set of teeth. |
Leo isn't lifting his leg yet. He squats to pee. When he humps his stuffed toys, he only does it for like 5 seconds, then gets distracted and starts chewing on it..then he humps it again, and so on. He's already 3lbs, so by 12 weeks he should double his weight, right? Or his weight at 12 weeks will be doubled when he's 6 months old? I have a feeling he's going to be a big boy.
