I like Buffy's idea of crating your pup during mealtimes.

Try to work on educating grandpa, especially if he is around Zoey a lot and/or lives with you. Pork is not okay. Does he have prior experience with small dogs? Yorkies are at great risk for pancreatitis, which can be deadly. Also, Yorkies are a lot smaller than the average dog and can easily be overfed.

Even if a dog appears to tolerate a food one day, the problems may not show up right away if the dog continues to be fed the wrong things.
