You're on the right track. Peeled apples, carrots, and sweet potato are good choices.

I don't know the guaranteed analysis of Fruitables off hand, but you might look into those. Buddy Biscuits may be an option (I just don't like the company). If your pup does not have neuro symptoms/hepatic encephalopathy, you have a lot of options.

You could get a small bag of L/D kibble as treats.
