For adults it is 1oz per pound daily on average. Obviously it can vary quite a bit. Not sure if the same goes for pups. But if it does...if pup is 2 pounds then 2 ounces would be about right. A cup is 8oz, so that would be 1/4 cup for 2 oz. There are 5mls in a tsp., 3 tsp. in a tbls., and 4 tbls. in 1/4 cup.

I'd disagree with the vet about waiting out nondrinking, But as long as she wil take it from you that sounds ok. Will she eat canned food?
