While walking Leo, he had picked up a stick and was running around with it. I bent down to take the stick out of his mouth and noticed a tiny brown looking wart on his nose, looked closer and yep a tick. Got home, and yanked it out. Poor Leo yelped when I pulled it out.. and I felt really bad..When I saw the whole tick, I realized it was indeed a deer tick. The tick must've just got in his nose, because it was still very small and flat. I called my vet anyways and she told me just to keep and eye on him, and even if they did test him nothing would show up because it takes 2 months for the lymes disease to affect the body. I'm being a worry wart over here.
