Hello,

Just introducing myself.

My partner Stephen and I are getting a beautiful female puppy from Susan Dodge's Clover Hill in early November - we went up and visited a couple of weeks ago, met the puppies, the parents, a grandparent, etc. and loved meeting Susan. We're feeling very lucky that Shelby (which is what we've named her) was available. She is just beautiful (as was every dog we saw at Clover Hill).

Our first dog since we were kids - we have two cats, which was part of the equation on wanting a purebred "known quantity"dog. It will just be easier for the mix. We'll be introducing them all very, very slowly and carefully.

Doing a lot of reading, beginning the shopping, looking for vet recommendations (our current vet is cats only), obedience classes, setting up puppy area, etc. etc. - and looking forward to bringing her home!
