Pediatric spay/neuters have become more popular with the rescues; I understand why, they want all dogs to be fixed before leaving, understandable. A lot of studies have been done on why early spaying/neutering is not beneficial to a dog at all- including ortho issues, spay incontinence in females, etc. I've honestly never heard of a breeder doing it so young, though, so curious as to why. Most breeders I've spoken to actually want me to wait until 12+ months if I can.
