My Huey has had 2 episodes that might have been seizure activity. I didn't see any seizure, but he acted post-ictal both times. For non-nurses:
Postictal state From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The postictal state is the altered state of consciousness that a person enters after experiencing a seizure. It usually lasts between 5 and 30 minutes, but sometimes longer in the case of larger or more severe seizures and is characterized by drowsiness, confusion, nausea, hypertension, headache or migraine and other disorienting symptoms.
Since his episodes were greater than 6 months apart, the Vet said, like you mentioned, that medications were not indicated & could do more harm than good. In fact, his first episode was how I found YT in the first place! So it was actually a good thing! He hasn't had any more after those original 2 times, so I am hopeful that if it WAS a seizure, that it has not recurred.
