That is so funny. Heidi always has to take a bone or a fluffy toy to bed every night, sometimes both. But she doesn't collect so much stuff, like you mentioned. When she carries her bone up though, she usually doesn't carry it at the right angle and it gets stuck on her bed stairs. She'll drop it, climb up on the bed and start jumping around like she's saying, "Get it for me, get it for me!" I'll toss it up and she'll chew on the bone as fast as she can for like 2 minutes, and then lays down to go to sleep. She's a good sigher too, she's not a happy camper if you move very much.
