Surprisingly Peanut Butter should work if the coconut or olive oil does not. I use that to remove gum and other sticky residue. I can't think of anything else that would be more natural and chemical free. Hope it works.
They also have doggy boots. I saw some at Petco. They look like little balloons. That might be something to look into. That way the feet will stay protected...
