For Canada, Turkey is the usual meat. Squash, turnip, carrots, all the "root| veges are usually served along with pumpkin pie for dessert. Potatoes in all their various forms also. Cranberry sauce for the turkey. |
Sounds just like here except some of us having dressing in the place of the potatoes - or both. Wish we celebrated our Thanksgiving earlier in the year so it wouldn't get so shoved into the Christmas season as it does here being so close to 12-25.
