I think Thanksgiving Day is a North American tradition.

For Canada, Turkey is the usual meat. Squash, turnip, carrots, all the "root| veges are usually served along with pumpkin pie for dessert. Potatoes in all their various forms also. Cranberry sauce for the turkey.
