 Number of toys can depend on age needs
Our Yorkie has a little toy basket with a canvas lining. He has an assortment of over 10 toys inside. He has 2 favorites he takes out every day, and the others he takes out just for an enjoyable change. He started out with 2 toys as a puppy, but by age 3, he has a larger collection which have been tested & enjoyed. He had 2 toys out today that he had not used for @ a week. Then, after chewing or bringing these to me for a fetching game, I noticed he went back to hunt out his small yellow ball & his grey elephant..his Big Favorites that are used every day. I suppose a puppy would be overwhelmed by the 10-12 objects in Taff's box...if they were given all at once! But, Taffy has accumulated his toys over 3 years and has made a thorough play-study of every one in his basket. He really loves his choice of toys! Have fun! -- Sue & oTaffyoo |
