I'm really surprised/amazed at that reaction, it's the same as my Adult Male Sneakers. He sniffs a bit at a Female in Heat, but, if She's very small, he won't try to hump her (Sneak is a 13 pounder).
Given all the other indicators of intelligence I've personally witnessed from this Breed, a reaction like that complements their amazing understanding of themselves and us.
