Default To cut or not...on your own!

If you want to try out a bit of trimming on your own, now that she's gone to the groomer, you can try to keep some photos handy and when she begins to get just a bit "fluffy" or "shaggy", try to do just a little bit to even places back up. Don't wait until she is too long, or you may not have any previous shape to follow. You Don't want to do too much at first...you're just getting the feel of it. I got a small palm-sized razor to trim down away from Taffy's eyes and under & around his paws; I got brave and do the top 1/3 of his ears...if you like that look. Never go up the side edges of ears with a razor, just stay on the flat part of ear with the razor flat against it. If you see stray hairs, it's safer just trimming edges w/ round tipped scissors.
