I'm relieved to hear that you both are doing a little better. I still miss my Rainbow Bridge babies so much, and it has been years. The love lasts forever, and when we talk about all of our babies, a feeling of overwhelming joy and love overtakes our hearts. We waited two years after losing our last little girl. She was close to seventeen, and our world revolved around her after losing her two sister a few years before her. We were both so lost without our little ones. When Katie joined our family 17 months ago after two very lonely years, she brought such love, life, and happiness to our lives. Loving Katie so completely doesn't change how much we love our Rainbow Bridge babies. She brings back so many wonderful memories of Ashley, Kiwi, and Gracie, and their sister Jolie before them, but we have also created so many more beautiful memories together. Life revolves around our precious Katie now, and we are so happy. I don't think the pain of losing our other little girls will ever go away, but I'm certain that loving them and the love they gave to us will last forever. I believe you will love again completely, just as you did before. Our babies teach us to love with a completely open heart.
