Of course, you never know who might call, and you would have to ask questions as well, so you'd have to decide if you want to do this kind of a "poster notice" and deal with people you don't know.
You could type-up a "Puppy Photo & Info. List" which would show interested, prospective owners 'photos' and an actual list of all the check-ups, shots, & medicines you have already given to the puppies--with the name of the vet hospital or the clinic where the pups were seen. This should be a 'plus' in your puppies favor over other puppies that haven't had any extra care given...like those sad newspaper ads that just say "free puppies"..."free kittens".
Our local Wal-Mart store now actually allows a bimonthly "posting" on two homemade posterboards of photos of dogs and cats at our local SPCA who need homes. Each one's photo has a "name" and a little description about the animal's personality and its strong points for adoption. The photos are updated; I always hope some of these pets did find a new home when their photo is taken off. I actually see people looking at the posters, so perhaps the 'photo-stories' help!
Anyway, I was at the store today, and I happened to think about what the SPCA was doing when I looked at your last posting that said 2 prospective 'owners' had now changed their minds...and you were getting very worried. You may not even like this idea at all, but I was just trying to think of something you might try to do to get the puppies story out to more people.
Blessings to you & your whole family! -- Sue & Taffy | Thank you Sue! Great suggestion! Since the pups will turn 6 weeks old tomorrow I have not invested any money on vet bills for the pups as of yet. Just food time and love. Well..other than Lola. I posted an update a while ago about the show & tell I did at my sisters place of employment. The 2 pups that are definitely now spoken for already have vet appointments for next week. The new owners are paying for that. Going forward I will see who else will commit. I am expecting more calls today. From what my sister told me there are more people interested. Wish me and the pups luck and again Thank You so much for thinking about us!
