Thank you each and every one of you for your thoughts and prayers. I hold each of your comments dear to my heart.
Buster went down very quickly yesterday. He went to the vet in the morning for a blood test and back in the afternoon because he was stumbling. It turned out that he had an unusual reaction to the chemo and had severe anemia. So bad that it could not be read on the test. He was not able to hold up his head after we arrived at the office.
Such a difficult decision but I did not want him to suffer a second longer. It is the greatest love, but the most difficult too.
My husband said that fostering (and having pets) is not for the faint of heart. So true.
I wanted to end this post with two pictures that I put on Facebook this morning of Buster. Kind of an "In Memory" thing.
The first is of Buster at the shelter in Indiana. Poor Guy and this is the way he looked when I fell in love with him last November.

The second is his Halloween costume. Wish he could have stuck around to wear it to our party.

I also wanted to say thank you to Yorkie Haven Rescue for giving me the opportunity to foster. It is the most rewarding thing I have ever done. Love you Buster...
Hugs to all,
Lisa
