I take mine everywhere. I think the only place I don't take Leiloni is places like big amusement parks type places. We really don't vacated too many places where my baby can't go. I have been blessed with 2 yorkies that loved/love more then anything else is to be with me at all times. I have been caught twice in the last 9 years. The funny one was at The universal city walk. We had been there a few hours with Gus in his stroller. It wasn't till my daughter got him out to hold him for a bit and security seen and told us that dogs were not allowed and that we would have to take him to the car for the rest of the time we were there. I just laughed and said ok. Of course I keep a bag in the van at all times. So all I did was take him to retrieve his bag. We had to take a potty break anyway (pads are a must where ever I go) Problem solved. Know one even knew he was there after that. Some say that it is cruel to the pet to keep them confined in a small bag for long periods at a time but if they seen how stressed out they were when I'm gone from them they would changed their tune. If I'm able to slip by her just to use the restroom, it's not very long before she's running franticly looking for me.
