I think dogs should have a variety of toys. All 3 of mine love to have a choice, soft and fuzzy, squeaky, chew toy, puzzle type toy...I generally pick toys up a few times a day, but I don't mind because I love seeing where they are and how they end up. We keep some toys in baskets in the living room, and the rest of them are upstairs in their room. I have learned that when bringing home new toys I need to get 3 of the exact same thing, not 3 different kinds. Puff is our only Yorkie and she is the only one that tries to hide all new toys and keep them for herself!
