My husband mentioned that it may be "sunburn". Squeekie (that's her name), loves to place her butt right next to the heater. These rashes never showed up in December or January when she started doing this, so I'm not really sure if its sunburn. So now I'm not turning on the heater in the mornings anymore, she's just wearing a very warm sweater. |
My yorkie has had the exact same skin condition on his back. I first noticed it about a year ago but it seems to be getting worst. Did you ever figure out what it was? The vet dermatology in my area is so expensive they want $180 just to look at the dog and any test would be extra. I'm not sure if I could actually afford to get him checked out.
