I watched "Father Brown" the other night and so enjoyed the English-ness of it, though it had no suspense or anything. Was slow-paced and reminded me of the Christie Marple novels with all those little village touches and characters. Fun show and Brown really grows on you. |
Paradise is much better than Selfridge...better quality acting...and Moray (Elliot) is hotter than Selfridge (Piven)
I had a hard time getting into Father Brown. But then I'm not a fan of mysteries at all...I could tolerate the handful of Marple that Geraldine McEwan was in, as she's one of my all time favourite actresses. I absolutely loved her in Mulberry!
