That was/is the problem with Zoey's eyes. She tears a lot and produces a lot of eye boogies. I wasn't wiping/cleaning them often enough but we were lucky that it was caught before it became serious.
Does Charlie tear a lot? I can't really tell from his picture... What are you using to get the boogies out? I'm using the flea comb and then recently started wipe/cleaning off with nursery water (fluoride free nursery water or gerber baby water). Adding the baby water to the routine REALLY helped with the tear stains and boogies. It also seem to help with the slight odor she had on her face. I hardly notice it now when I sniff her face to check. LOL
