We got a car this weekend.
But, as I was adding it to our toll-tag account, I found a startling surprise!
We had an accident over a year ago, 9/2004, the insurance company ended up totaling the car and the body shop was supposed to return the toll tag to NTTA. Someone has been using our tolltag since January 2005. It just charges to our credit card every $40, and my husband uses it a lot. He just never thought the charges seemed excessive; aboaut $25 out of $100/month. We should have cancelled it for $25 back in the first place, but we didn't. I hope someone will benefit for my stupidity. How easy it is to pay bills these days and not pay any attention.
