Did this breeder own the male when he was being shown? If not, I am wondering why a show breeder would sell a male with full AKC reg=breeding rights to a female that is CKC.. That is not the usual practice in my area. Has he sired enough litters to have a DNA number?? These are things that jump out at me.
What does her health guarantee cover and for how long? What would be the plan to take care of genetic problems that will not show til the puppy is 6-12 months old? Does she have a take back policy? Have you made an appt with a reputable vet BEFORE you get the baby? That way, you can take it straight to the vet as soon as you get her. Have a stool sample done. Check ears for infection or mites. I can think of a lot more questions but these are some that you need to cover. I personally have not ever seen a line that did not have some health issues even if in the past. I don't know the price you are paying, but if your puppy has genetic problems or illness, no price would buy health.. BTW, have you had Baxter neutered? If not, he could start marking so best to do that right away. Also, it prevents an oops litter til the female is old enough to start heat cycles and/or be spayed. . Best of luck when you get your sweety.
